Video: Pete Rose looks really comfy in this furniture promo

Life after baseball has presented plenty of promotional opportunities for all-time hit king Pete Rose. In fact, his playing days were also littered with a ton of appearances in television ads and such.

The Cincinnati native has made his mark over the years in commercials for the likes of Aqua Velva, Nestle Crunch, Kool-Aid, and Atari, just to name a few. And who could forget this classic 1985 Wheaties ad that shows a flashback of Rose getting hit No. 4,192 to pass Ty Cobb?

Now, Rose is featured in the promo above plugging Cincinnati furniture purveyor Muenchens. It shows Charlie Hustle lounging seductively on a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pitching the product while wearing some plaid pajamas and a sweet t-shirt. Plus, if you buy a mattress, he's even willing to pitch in an autographed bat and two tickets to a future game!

Pete says he might have smashed 5,000 hits during his career had he been able to sleep on such greatness back in the day. Just think of what you could do if you slept on one every night. The possibilities are endless.
