MINOR details 4/11/2013: Bats win; Blaze still winless; rain beats Blue Wahoos, Dragons

Bats (5-3), 2nd International League South, 0.5 GB
-Greg Reynolds (1-0, 2.45) tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out one. Kevin Whelan picked up the save (1) by getting just the final out of the game after walking two and striking out one.
-CF Billy Hamilton went 0-5, with two strikeouts. RF Denis Phipps was 2-4, with a double, an RBI (4), and two runs scored. 1B Neftali Soto was also 2-4, picking up two doubles, two RBI (2), and a run. 3B Ray Chang also knocked in a run (1).

Blue Wahoos (3-3) T-2nd Southern League South, 1.0 GB
The game between the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and the Mobile BayBears was postponed due to inclement weather. Per their official site, "The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday night consisting of two seven-inning games, with the first contest beginning at 5:05 p.m. at Hank Aaron Stadium."

Blaze (0-8), Last California League North, 6.0 GB
-Jonathan Moscot (0-2, 13.50) suffered the loss, giving up six earned runs on six hits in just three innings. He did strike out five. Jake Johnson gave up two earned runs in four innings, and Kyle McMyne gave up another two earned runs in two innings of relief.
-RF Juan Silva had a hit and scored a run. DH Juan Duran drove in a run. LF Kyle Waldrop hit a second-inning home run (1). C Yovan Gonzalez went 2-3, with a solo shot (1).

Dragons (2-4), 7th Midwest League Eastern, 2.5 GB
The Dayton Dragons were rained out for the second consecutive night, as their game with the Great Lakes Loons was postponed. They are scheduled to play their home opener Friday night at 7:00pm ET. As for making up Thursday's game, here's a statement from their official website: "Thursday's postponed game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 13 starting at 6:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field. Both games will be seven-inning games."
