MINOR details 4/8/2013: Billy Hamilton is Billy Hamilton, but Bats lose

He's back at it.
Yes. It's the exciting return of MINOR details. Are you happy? Sure you are. Why am I five games late? I was busy thinking of buying a hat from each of the minor league teams. I don't know. I linked each of the previous games below each recap though. Enjoy.

Bats (3-2), T-1st International League South, --- GB
-Promising young prospect Daniel Corcino (0-1, 12.27) suffered the loss in his first start of the year, allowing five earned runs on five hits in 3.2 innings. He struck out five in the effort. Nick Christiani tossed 2.1 scoreless innings of relief, while Clay Hensley and Kevin Whelan added a perfect inning each.
-The offense was all about CF Billy Hamilton who was 4-5 with two RBI (2) and three stolen bases (6). 2B Ray Chang went 2-4 with a double and a run scored.

Blue Wahoos (3-2) T-1st Southern League South, --- GB
-Daniel Renken (1-0, 1.29) was magnificent, striking out five and allowing just one earned run over seven innings. Logan Ondrusek struck out one in a scoreless inning. Lee Hyde picked up his first save of the season with a perfect ninth.
-CF Ryan LaMarre doubled and stole a base. SS Devin Lohman singled and drove in a run (3). 1B Travis Mattair collected a double and an RBI (2). 2B Brodie Greene was 2-2, with a walk.

Visalia 4 Bakersfield 0
Blaze (0-5), Last California League North, 4.0 GB
-Radhames Quezada (0-1, 13.50) walked seven in just two innings in the loss. He also gave up four runs, three earned, on two hits, while striking out three. Carlos Gonzalez struck out three in three scoreless innings, followed by Michael Dennhardt striking out three in two scoreless innings. Brooks Pinckard threw a perfect inning.
-There wasn't much doing at the plate. RF Juan Duran led the way going 2-3 with a walk. Four other players added a hit.

South Bend 6 Dayton 0
Dragons (2-3), T-6th Midwest League Eastern, 1.0 GB
-Wandy Peralta (0-1, 9.00) went just one inning, giving up five runs, one earned, on five hits. He also walked one and struck out one. Wes Mugarian followed him with four innings of one-run baseball with two strikeouts. Alejandro Chacin whiffed three batters over three scoreless frames.
-The Dragons managed no runs on just four hits, with CF Beau Amaral going 2-4, with a steal. 2B Brent Peterson added a double and LF Jesse Winker had a single.
