Video: Watch the Reds score nine runs in one half of an inning

The Reds entered the top of the ninth inning against the Cardinals on Monday locked in a 4-4 tie. By the end of the half inning, they led by a score of 13-4.

How did this happen, you ask?

Well, I could tell you that the Reds scored nine runs after a walk, wild pitch, intentional walk, double, intentional walk, another walk, infield single, error, single, double, single, walk, and an infield single. Or I could just allow you to watch how the inning unfolded by viewing the video clip above.

All in all, Cincinnati plated nine runs off six hits, one error, and five walks.

The Reds go for an encore performance in game two of the series Tuesday night.
