Photos: Bengals take batting practice with Reds before Wednesday's game

Cincinnati's two professional sports teams were united on one field Wednesday afternoon when the Bengals paid a visit to Great American Ball Park to take batting practice with the Reds.

Seen in the photo above is none other than Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis taking his cuts in the batting cage. Judging by the amount of balls sitting behind him, Lewis provided plenty of air conditioning for onlookers due to a healthy dose of whiffs. Nonetheless, it was still neat to see what some of the NFL guys could do with a piece of lumber.

Cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, quarterback Andy Dalton, and wide receiver A.J. Green were among the notable Bengals players on hand for the special occasion.

The always friendly Brandon Phillips appeared to be the unofficial host of the festivities as he made the rounds chatting it up with several members of the Bengals.

You can check out more photos from Wednesday by visiting the Reds on Facebook.
