An update on how 10 of the Reds' top prospects are performing in 2013

The turnover of Major League Baseball rosters is typically a slow and gradual effect that is relatively unnoticed by the casual fan. Players are either released, traded away, demoted, or retire, and are replaced by younger players who have worked their way up through the system.

Fortunately, the Reds appear to be in good shape for both the short-term and long-term future, as they boast several rising prospects who promise to fill the voids left behind by current stars and veterans. With that being said, here is a statistical update on how the organization's top 10 prospects (according to MLB.com) are performing in the minors this season. Enjoy.

*All stats are accrued through games ending before Aug. 2.*
