Friday night will go down as a memorable one for numerous couples who decided to tie the proverbial knot on the field at Great American Ball Park before the Reds played host to the Cardinals.
21 couples will be getting married on the field today just after 6:30pm. You definitely are going to want to be here for this event. The team announced an invitation for couples to be a part of "I Do on the Diamond" night at the stadium back in June. Naturally, many lovebirds quickly jumped on board with the idea. All in all, a total of 16 couples got married for the first time, while the other five couples simply renewed their vows.

Those who partook in the ceremony also got the chance to enjoy an exclusive reception in the team's luxurious Riverfront Club. The celebratory bash included an upscale dinner and an open bar. Couples were allowed to bring up to 10 guests with them to the reception, as well.
As alluring as that must have been to the couples, other onlooking fans didn't quite share their excitement. Here is just a few tweets from the momentous occasion.
