Unless you show up to the stadium well before first pitch, you probably don't notice that the Reds wear different-looking jerseys for batting practice than they do during the actual games.

If you are one of these people, than the news that the Reds will be wearing new look batting practice jerseys in 2014 won't likely mean much to you (or maybe it will). Nonetheless, according to Paul Lukas of Uni Watch, Major League Baseball is rolling out newly designed BP jerseys for all of its 30 teams next season, and the image you see above is very close to what Cincinnati's should appear like.

As you can see, it's a fairly basic design without too much flair involved. It's also worth noting that the Reds are one of only five teams who boast separate home and away jerseys. The other teams are the Red Sox, Twins, Yankees, and Padres. It's a safe assumption that the black version will be worn on the road while the traditional red will be worn inside Great American Ball Park.

What do you think, guys?
