Notes from Walt Jocketty's interview with MLB Radio: Phillips, Choo, Chapman

On Wednesday, Reds general manager Walt Jocketty agreed to join MLB Network Radio in order to address some key topics involving the franchise.

Among others, Jocketty addressed the trade rumors involving second basemen Brandon Phillips, the possibility of resigning Shin-Soo Choo, and whether to use Aroldis Chapman in the rotation or the bullpen.

Here's a quick recap of what he said:
Jocketty also touched upon Tuesday's three-team trade that sent veteran catcher Ryan Hanigan to Tampa Bay and brought prospect David Holmberg to Cincinnati:
As you can see, the "Hot Stove" is alive and well this offseason. In fact, the flurry of activity for the Reds this winter is essentially night and day from last winter's dealings. The team pretty much chose to stand pat last offseason and are doing everything in their power but that this time around.
