Opening Day clash between Reds and Cardinals set to be aired nationally on ESPN

Reds fans who want to tune in to Opening Day action on the tube will now have their choice between two different channels.

As reported by C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer, ESPN plans to televise the March 31 game against the St. Louis Cardinals, also known as 2014 Opening Day, as part of a handful of games the network will feature to kick-off the upcoming season.

First pitch for the Reds-Cardinals affair is slated for 4 p.m. It should also be noted that the game will follow the Cubs-Pirates clash being aired nationally beforehand.

On ESPN2, viewers can tune in to watch the Red Sox and Orioles at 3 p.m., the Rockies and Marlins at 7 p.m., and the Mariners and Angels at 10 p.m.

For those of you who would rather watch the broadcast on Fox Sports Ohio, not to worry, FSO will also be airing the game.
