Derek Jeter's Taco Hole

As you well know by now, Derek Jeter has announced that 2014 will be the last of his career. He has always been a consummate professional and in an era stained by PED scandals, Jeter is one of the few faces of which Major League Baseball can be proud.

We also know that the Cincinnati Reds selected Chad Mottola with the fifth pick in the 1992 draft and the New York Yankees picked Jeter with the very next pick. Oh well.

He is probably the greatest player in my lifetime that I have seen play his career from start to finish. His stats speak for themselves and Jeter deserves every bit of celebration and sendoff that he receives this season, but there's one thing for which Jeter should always be remembered.

Ladies and gentelmen, Derek Jeter's Taco Hole:

I was just at the jewelry store buying a gift for my lovely wife for Valentine's Day and Kokomo by the Beach Boys was playing and the above video was the first thing that came to mind.

Congratulations Derek Jeter. May we never forget The Captain and his taco hole.
