Where do the Reds stack up in latest World Series odds?

The World Series may still be over eight months away, but it's never too early to dream big, especially when it comes to picturing our beloved Reds hoisting the hardware. Whether or not the Reds navigate their way to postseason greatness remains to be seen. After all, the club is still trying to win its first playoff series since 1995 after failed attempts in three of the past four years. But for the sake of the risk-takers out takers, I thought it would be interesting to see what Vegas has to say about Cincinnati's chances, as well as the other 29 MLB franchises vying for a World Series title in 2014.

As you will see, the Reds are tied for the 9th-best odds in all of baseball, which is probably right about where they deserve to be entering the spring. Earlier today, we pointed out that Yahoo Sports ranked the Reds as the 9th-best team in baseball, so perhaps that's a good spot for them. Of course, those odds can vary based on the difference of opinion from source-to-source, according to MyTopSportsBooks.com.

Here is a look at the current odds, courtesy of Bovada.

Los Angeles Dodgers 13/2

Detroit Tigers 17/2

New York Yankees 10/1

Washington Nationals 10/1

Boston Red Sox 12/1

St. Louis Cardinals 12/1

Do you think these 18/1 odds for the Reds winning it all are fair?
