Four Reds receive nods on 'Baseball Tonight' top 100 rankings list

The ESPN "Baseball Tonight" crew has been ranking, shuffling, and prognosticating like crazy over the past couple of weeks. On Thursday, their look into the proverbial crystal ball concluded when they unveiled a list of their top 100 players in baseball.

Here is a look at which Reds players made the rankings (the number in parenthesis represents their ranking from 2013):

No. 6 - Joey Votto (No. 9)
No. 48 - Aroldis Chapman (No. 46)
No. 62 - Jay Bruce (No. 55)
No. 79 - Mat Latos (No. 73)

For those of you keeping score at home, Cincinnati put a total of four players on the dubious list. The Nationals led the National League with eight players and the Cardinals and Dodgers weren't too far behind with seven a piece.

Meanwhile, the Cubs and Astros failed to produce one player in the rankings. I don't think this fact is a shock to anyone though.
