Fox Sports Ohio unveils 145-game Reds television schedule



Good news, guys. FOX Sports Ohio will televise approximately 145 Reds games in 2014. The network confirmed the schedule through the following press release:

FOX Sports Ohio today announced its 145-game Cincinnati Reds television schedule for 2014.

Play-by-play announcers Thom Brennaman, Jim Kelch, and George Grande, and color analysts Chris Welsh and Jeff Brantley will once again return to the booth to call all the action this season. Jeff Piecoro and Brian Giesenschlag will co-host Reds Live, and Jim Day will work all 145 games as sideline reporter as well as provide reports for pre- and post-game coverage.

The network will kick off the regular season with special coverage of Opening Day beginning at 9:00am on Monday, March 31st. Programming details for Opening Day are forthcoming.

In addition to covering 145 live games, FOX Sports Ohio will have comprehensive coverage of the Reds all season long with the return of Reds Live. New this season, Giesenschlag will take a greater role with the network in serving as a regular co-host of the show.

The pregame edition of Reds Live, presented by Ray St. Clair Roofing, willprovide fans with commentary, features, and in-depth pregame coverage of the Reds 30 minutes prior to every game telecast. Reds Live pregame show will be co-hosted by Piecoro and Giesenschlag, and Day will report from the field.

Immediately following the final out of each game, the post-game edition ofReds Live, presented by Kings Honda, will feature highlights, player interviews and analysis. When the Reds are home, Day will host from the desk and Piecoro will report from the dugout. For road games, Piecoro and Geisenschlag will be behind the desk with Day reporting from the away ballpark.

Select Reds games will also be televised nationally on FOX Sports and FOX Sports 1.
