Reds make two more cuts to trim roster to 42

The Reds made a pair of roster cuts Friday to trim the roster down to 42.

Catcher Tucker Barnhart and reliever Curtis Partch were the two players given exit slips. According to John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer, both were optioned to Triple-A Louisville.

The right-handed Partch appeared in five games this spring and tallied a 1.93 ERA in 4.2 innings pitched.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Barnhart batted .286/.333/.429 with three RBI, two doubles, and two runs scored in 14 at-bats.
