Voting has begun for All-Star game

The voting process has begun for the 2014 All-Star Game.

On Friday, Major League Baseball released the ballots for the 2014 All-Star Game, set to be played July 15 at Target Field in Minnesota.

The Reds will be striving to place multiple players in the National League's starting lineup for the second year in a row after fans voted Brandon Phillips (2B) and Joey Votto (1B) into the game in 2013.

Other Reds appearing on this year's ballot include Billy Hamilton, Jay Bruce, Devin Mesoraco, Zack Cozart, Todd Frazier and Ryan Ludwick.

Fans may submit up to 25 online ballots, but they can also earn a one-time bonus of 10 additional online ballots. To access these additional online ballots, you must be logged into your MLB.com account when you submit any online ballot. If you do not have an MLB.com account, register on the site in accordance with the enrollment instructions for a free MLB.com account.

The online voting process will run from April 25 until Thursday, July 3, at approximately 11:59 p.m. ET. In-stadium ballots at Great American Ball Park will be available to fans from May 2 to June 20.

Remember, the 2015 version of the Midsummer Classic will have a tremendous Cincinnati flavor, as the Queen City will play host to its first All-Star Game since 1988.
