Hero cat to throw out first pitch at Bakersfield Blaze game

There is a viral video going around the web which shows a courageous cat saving a young boy from a ferocious dog. The video has gone completely viral and you would be in the minority if you haven't seen it yet.

Anyways, the Bakersfield Blaze, Single-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, has reached out to the cat's owners in hopes of getting the feline to throw out the first pitch at a game next week. And a representative for the team has confirmed that the family has accepted the Blaze's offer!

On May 20, the hero cat known as "Tara" will climb onto the mound and somehow twirl the ceremonial first pitch. At this point, it isn't clear how exactly the cat is going to throw the ball, but I can only assume it will receive an assist from the owners.
