Video: Billy Hamilton sparks lopsided win with lead-off home run

Statistically, the Reds possess one of the least potent offenses in Major League Baseball. But you would never believe it by simply watching their performance Sunday against the Brewers.

All in all, Cincinnati collectively pounded out 19 hits en route to denting the dish 13 times in its triumph over Milwaukee. Billy Hamilton served as the catalyst after smacking a lead-off home run to get the fun started. For Hamilton, it marked his fourth home run of the season and second in two games.

Does this mean the offense is on the brink of finally firing on all cylinders? Time will tell, I suppose. But Sunday's beatdown of the first place Brew Crew definitely gives us reason for hope.
