Video: Relive Kris Negron belt his first major league home run

The Reds were able to overcome injuries this weekend to take two out of three against the pesky Pirates. But they wouldn't have been able to do so without the unlikely contribution from recent call-up Kris Negron.

Watch as Negron promptly delivers the first home run of his major league career in the second inning off Francisco Liriano. Negron's big fly came with two Reds aboard and effectively put the good guys on top 3-0.

As fate would have it, three runs was just about all that Johnny Cueto needed to pick up his 10th win of the season, and more importantly, keep the Reds within 1.5 games of the first place Brewers.
